About this role:

We seek a highly skilled Finance Manager with expertise in accounting, compliance, and budgeting to oversee financial operations and lead the development of accurate and effective budgets.

This individual will ensure robust financial controls and compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies. They will also conduct cost and profitability analysis to identify opportunities for savings and optimization, and support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and scenario planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management & Analysis
    • Prepare and consolidate financial statements and reports.
    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
    • Ensure timely tax filings, audits, and compliance with relevant laws and standards.
    • Conduct cost and profitability analysis to identify opportunities for savings and optimization.
    • Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and scenario planning.
  • Accounting & Compliance
    • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all financial transactions.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals and financial targets.
    • Prepare detailed financial forecasts and provide variance analysis to management to support decision-making and identify potential financial risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
  • 4-5 years of overall experience in financial management and accounting. Experience working with educational institutions will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and financial reporting requirements.
  • Excellent skills in Excel and ERP / technology tools, essential for fast & accurate MIS
