As a Data Engineering Specialist, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data models. You will leverage tools like dbt to create high-quality data that meets the needs of our business teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build reusable data models with ease.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ingest and transform data from various sources.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and documentation across all datasets.
  • Work closely with analysts and business teams to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
  • Implement and maintain data testing frameworks to validate pipeline integrity.
  • Optimize SQL queries and data transformations for performance and scalability.
  • Maintain version control and CI/CD pipelines for analytics codebases.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and models in production.

This role requires strong SQL skills to develop reports using Looker and Domo tools. We are seeking experienced Data Engineers with 6+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or BI development, proficiency in SQL, and expertise with dbt or similar data modeling tools.

Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift is essential, along with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience with ETL/ELT processes. Additionally, you should be familiar with Git and CI/CD workflows, and possess excellent communication and collaboration skills.
