Senior Enterprise Kafka Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Kafka Architect to join our team.
About the Role:
- Design and deploy scalable Kafka clusters ensuring high availability and fault tolerance for production-grade environments.
- Implement automation tools like Ansible and Chef to streamline Kafka cluster setup.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues optimizing Kafka performance, minimizing downtime, and resolving critical problems.
- Configure data replication using MirrorMaker for effective disaster recovery between two data centers.
- Deploy Kafka UI on Kubernetes for real-time monitoring and management with Provectus Kafka UI.
- Integrate Schema Registry and Kafka Connectors facilitating seamless data flow and integrating ELK Stack and Solr for scalable data storage and analysis.
- Manage ACL permissions, create topics, and implement end-to-end security with SSL/TLS.
- Enhance message processing efficiency by designing and managing Kafka infrastructure.
- Optimize partitioning, replication, and retention policies through thorough performance testing.
Requirements:
We require a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. 3+ years of experience in Kafka development and administration.

Extensive knowledge of Kafka clusters, MirrorMaker, Kafka Streams, Schema Registry, Kubernetes, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Monitoring & Logging, Programming & Scripting, Shell Scripting.
