Job Description

Tender Manager is responsible for overseeing the entire tendering and proposal development process for projects in carbon markets, renewable energy, environmental services, and NBS initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the preparation and submission of tenders, RFPs, EOIs, and bids in line with client and sector requirements.
  • Reviewing tender documents and identifying compliance requirements, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Collaborating with internal teams (technical, legal, finance, BD) and tender experts to compile inputs, cost estimates, and supporting materials.
  • Drafting and structuring high-quality technical and commercial proposals tailored to carbon markets, renewable energy, and sustainability projects.
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of templates, case studies, credentials, and standard bid documents.
  • Tracking and monitoring relevant opportunities from government bodies, corporates, and international organizations.
  • Ensuring timely submission of proposals and post-submission follow-up with clients and partners.
  • Supporting management in market research, pipeline development, and competitive analysis related to tendering.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Relevant qualification.
  • 2-6 years of relevant experience in Tender Management in the field of Climate Change and sustainability.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering procedures in government, corporate, or donor-funded projects.
  • Experience working directly on tenders of organizations such as GIZ, World Bank, ADB, UNDP, etc.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to coordinate across departments and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • Prior experience in drafting proposals for sustainability, carbon credits, or renewable energy projects.
  • Exposure to working with international donors, development banks, or corporates.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
