System Analyst JobJob Description:

The role of the System Analyst is a highly technical position that requires expertise in the installation, development, and administration of Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with version 11 and higher.

The System Analyst will be responsible for developing webforms and reports, as well as working with vendors to secure security patches. They will also create complex Hyperion business rules and calculation scripts, extract metadata, load, and update it.

In addition, the successful candidate will build, maintain, and enhance Smartview ad-hoc reports, create and troubleshoot drill-through reports, and translate business requirements into system designs.

Required Skills:
  • 5+ years of experience with Oracle Hyperion Planning and Essbase applications
  • Hands-on experience with webforms and reports development
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation and vendor management
  • Complex Hyperion business rule and calculation script creation
  • Metadata extraction, load, and update
  • Smartview ad-hoc report building and maintenance
  • Drill-through report creation and troubleshooting
  • Business requirement translation into system designs
  • Production system problem resolution and support
  • Unix, Linux, Informatica, and OBIEE experience a plus
