Roles and Responsibilities

As a key member of the Jubilant Foodworks team, the Regional Finance Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring financial controls and statutory compliances across the region. This will involve working closely with Regional Managers to analyze and drive region business performance.

Financial Controls & Statutory Compliances

  • Ensure timely completion of daily financial tasks in POS and SRS systems.
  • Resolve any unresolved queries or long-pending issues with the corporate office, including pending cashless transactions, long-pending receivables, and utility bills.
  • Assist the Corporate Finance team in reviewing monthly closure checklists and resolving internal and statutory audit queries.
  • Strengthen controls at restaurants and commissaries, focusing on safeguarding inventory, fixed assets, cash, and other critical areas.
  • Verify display of critical statutory compliances at restaurants, including GST numbers, licenses, and HR-related displays.
  • Check sales invoices for GST rates and conduct regular or surprise visits to verify inventory, fixed assets, and cash in hand.
  • Monitor cash expenses according to company policy and provide regular training and updates to the region on finance-related policies and procedures.
  • Share new initiatives from Corporate Finance with the region and work with the team to improve financial systems and introduce changes as part of global improvements.
  • Ensure tax compliance, including submission of documents to VAT/LBT/GST authorities and timely forwarding of any VAT/CST/Entry Tax/GST-related notices to the corporate office.

MIS & Analysis

  • Collect, analyze, and manage quantitative data to create meaningful reports driving business improvement across the region.
  • Lead monthly finance close with detailed root cause analysis of variances vs. budgets/estimates and monitor monthly budgets, expenses, and payments at the restaurant level.
  • Be a key finance business partner for various initiatives in the region, conducting financial review activities, providing suggestions for revenue enhancement, pricing strategy, and cost control.
  • Benchmark circles and conduct reviews to provide strategic financial insights and improve region performance.
  • Support Regional Managers in preparing annual budgets and subsequent variance analysis of actual vs. budget.
  • Work closely with circle heads to identify best practices, top/bottom performing restaurants, and closure of restaurants if required.
  • Collaborate with the business team, supply team, and IT team to ensure business goals align with financial goals.
  • Continuously improve internal processes and controls, ensuring compliance with corporate governance and policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualification: Qualified CA
  • Experience: 8-10 years of post-qualification experience
  • Skills: Analytical ability, command over MS Office (Excel), good communication skills
