Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer - MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop full-stack web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement responsive designs
  • Write and maintain scalable, testable, and efficient code following best practices
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with front-end components
  • Optimize application performance and troubleshoot/debug issues as they arise
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Manage and maintain databases using MongoDB, ensuring high availability and data consistency
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and suggest improvements to enhance the development process
  • Deploy applications to cloud platforms (AWS, Heroku, etc.) and manage CI/CD pipelines

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of development experience with the MERN stack
  • Must be a very strong team player and possess leadership qualities
  • Strong experience with React.js, including state management libraries (Context API, Redux)
  • Understanding of modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript (optional)
  • Knowledge of frontend tools such as Webpack, Babel, and other related technologies
  • Experience building RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js
  • Proficient in database design and management with MongoDB and Mongoose
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms, including OAuth and JWT
  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Heroku, etc.) and deploying web applications

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with GraphQL, Next.js, or other JavaScript frameworks
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
