VMware Administrator Job Description

To ensure business continuity and efficiency, we are seeking an experienced VMware Administrator to oversee our converged infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the performance and uptime of SAN infrastructure and converged platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maximize system performance and uptime by optimizing SAN infrastructure and converged platforms.
  • Analyze monitoring results from storage, RecoverPoint, UCS, and vCenter to identify areas for improvement and implement changes.
  • Plan and recommend infrastructure modifications or equipment upgrades to increase system capacity.
  • Troubleshoot issues to maintain high levels of system uptime and performance.
  • Coordinate with OEMs to replace hardware, advance troubleshoot, and apply code updates as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least 7 years of experience in VMware administration.
  • Strong understanding of converged infrastructure and SAN technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
