Architect Position

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled architect with excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and a proven track record in project completion. The successful candidate should be able to effectively communicate with stakeholders, analyze architectural designs, and ensure that all projects meet industry standards and government regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing architectural designs and plans to ensure they are feasible and meet client requirements
  • Ensuring all designs meet industry standards and government regulations by conducting thorough research and analysis
  • Supervising junior architects and assigning them tasks to ensure smooth project execution
  • Communicating project status and completion timelines to clients and stakeholders
  • Preparing building models and structure plans using Revit and SketchUp
  • Conducting mockup sessions to test design concepts and gather feedback from clients
  • Guiding the construction project from start to finish, ensuring high-quality, innovative, and functional design
  • Producing construction documents and specifications for clients
  • Understanding construction assemblies and best practices to ensure efficient project execution
  • Actively coordinating design and equipment with consultants and other disciplines to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Researching and selecting building products and composing written specifications
  • Participating in project meetings and documenting discussions through meeting minutes
  • Actively participating in quality assurance/quality control review sessions at project milestones
  • Compiling all documentation required to submit projects to authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) for review and approval
  • Managing projects through the construction administration phase by routing RFIs and shop drawings to the appropriate team member
  • Traveling to and visiting project construction sites to observe construction progress and compose field reports
  • Continually learning and staying informed of new systems, methods, and sustainable practices to benefit the collective team and clients

Requirements:

  • Highly skilled architect with 0-2+ years of experience
  • Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to work
  • Strong proficiency in modeling and graphic design software
  • Growing understanding of building codes and how to apply them
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced work environment
