Job Title: Technical Director of AI Engineering

As a seasoned technical leader, you will design and build the foundational backend services that form the backbone of our platform. This is a role for hands-on technical leaders who want to solve our hardest infrastructure challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and Build: Design, develop, and operate the core distributed systems that provide the reliable, scalable foundation for our mission.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship through exemplary code, design documents, and thoughtful code reviews.
  • Complex Problem Solving: Tackle our most challenging technical issues in distributed computing, large-scale data processing, and overall system architecture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a proven track record of designing and building complex, large-scale distributed systems.
  • Deep expertise in backend development, including system architecture, data modeling, and API design.
  • A strong bias for action and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++) and experience with modern cloud and data infrastructure.
