Cloud Engineering Role

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about developing scalable backend services, deploying applications on cloud platforms, and implementing monitoring and observability.

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Python-based backend services.

The ideal candidate will be proficient with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP), have strong experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK Stack) for log aggregation and visualization, and familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Additionally, the candidate should have good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles, experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture, and proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining scalable Python-based backend services.
  • Deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Implementing and maintaining logging, monitoring, and alerting using the ELK Stack.
  • Building RESTful APIs and integrating with internal/external services.
  • Using Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
  • Setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including DevOps, Data Engineering, and QA.
  • Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-deployed applications and services.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of professional experience with Python (Flask, Django, FastAPI, etc.).
  • Proficient with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK Stack) for log aggregation and visualization.
  • Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps principles.
  • Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Developer Associate, Azure Developer).
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Knowledge of message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Exposure to security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Experience with other observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus.
