Job Title: Head of Engineering

• Role Summary

The Head of Engineering will lead the development of next-generation clean mobility solutions, overseeing the full lifecycle of motor controllers, chargers, and powertrain electronics.

• Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership

• Design and develop cutting-edge EV components, including inverters, DC-DC converters, onboard chargers, and battery management systems.

• Drive innovation in power electronics with a focus on SiC/GaN technologies, high-efficiency systems, and next-gen mobility platforms.

• Oversee the technical teams to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

• Strategic Vision & Innovation

• Align product development with emerging trends in EV and green tech.

• Lead technology scouting and partnerships to integrate innovative solutions and future-proof products.

• Engineering & Compliance Oversight

• Ensure product and process compliance with industry standards, including ISO 26262, AEC-Q100, and ASPICE.

• Apply best practices in thermal management, EMI/EMC, and functional safety.

• Drive system-level optimization through tools like MATLAB, PSIM, and LTSpice.

• Project & Resource Management

• Manage multiple development projects, balancing scope, time, and cost across all phases.

• Collaborate closely with manufacturing to ensure seamless product transition from prototype to mass production.

• Implement cost-reduction and quality-improvement strategies.

• Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the primary technical liaison for OEMs, clients, and strategic partners.

• Translate customer needs into innovative product solutions and ensure on-time delivery with high customer satisfaction.

• Represent the organization in technical discussions, presentations, and negotiations.

• Team Leadership & Culture Building

• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and product managers.

• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

• Develop internal capabilities to support organizational growth and technical excellence.

• Qualifications & Requirements

• Background

• Must have a B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.

• Experience

• 15–20 years in Automotive Electronics, EV systems, or Power Electronics domain.

• Proven track record in scaling products from concept to production.

• Technical Expertise

• In-depth knowledge of converter topologies (LLC, PFC, etc.).

• Experience with motor control technologies: BLDC, PMSM, SRM.

• Strong hands-on skills in simulation, modeling, and hardware validation.

• Familiarity with EV systems: 400V–800V architectures, BMS, and chargers.

• Leadership & Soft Skills

• Strong decision-making, team management, and project execution skills.

• Customer-focused with an entrepreneurial mindset and business acumen.

• Ability to operate in fast-paced, innovation-driven environments.

• Desirable Skills & Knowledge

• Experience in SiC/GaN-based power systems.

• Required Qualifications:
