Manufacturing Engineer Position OverviewJob DescriptionAs a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans and control procedures to ensure smooth assembly processes. You will coordinate with various departments, including logistics, warehouse, and design, to achieve this goal.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement daily production plans and control procedures.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth assembly processes.
  • Monitor and record key performance indicators (KPIs) for assembly groups and initiate measures to resolve or mitigate problems.
  • Provide regular feedback and status updates to team members and management.
  • Plan, assign, and assist in the training and development of team members.
  • Identify and implement small improvement projects to enhance current assembly processes.
  • Prepare for and handle internal and external audits, documentation, and employee trainings.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Typically 4 years of experience in a directly related field, with demonstrated key responsibilities and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Lean manufacturing principles and techniques.
  • Computer skills, including basic knowledge of computers, office productivity programs, and spreadsheet software.
Preferred Skills and Knowledge:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures for supervised groups.
  • Supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action on the shop floor.
  • Flexibility in working approach as per business requirements.
  • Negotiation skills for resolving issues related to technicians at grass-roots levels.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, and CAD.
