Senior Data Engineer

The ideal candidate for this role will be a highly skilled and experienced data engineer with a strong background in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data processing systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Engineering Expertise: The successful candidate will have 7+ years of experience in data engineering with expertise in cloud-based technologies, including AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and Glue.
  • Technical Skills: A strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL, data mining, and data visualization is required. Proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL is essential.
  • Agile Methodologies: Experience working with Agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks, especially those designed for enterprise-level scaling, is necessary.
  • Communication: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills are required to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, mentor junior engineers, and provide guidance on complex technical issues is essential.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on cloud-based technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, ETL, data mining, and data visualization.
  • Experience working with Agile principles, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
