Job Title: Device Development Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned device development professional to lead our Metered Dose Inhaler (MDI) dosage form workstream. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating with device manufacturers, conducting design verification, and ensuring compliance with defined user requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with device manufacturers for selecting the right device
  • Conducting design verification to comply with defined user requirements
  • Developing test methods/fixtures and relevant testing
  • Validation of in-silico clinical simulations for patient safety, efficacy, and clinical outcomes
  • Commercial product support for MDI portfolio
  • New product development for Injectable delivery devices, including technology/device platform selection, design fine-tuning, and development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably mechanical
  • At least 12 years of experience in medical device development or drug delivery devices in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge in medical devices/combination product development
  • Ability to author Design History files
  • Test method development and validation
  • Familiarity with primary container closures systems and regulatory expectations
