Job Title: Assistant Engineering Manager

This position involves precise planning and execution of certification and compliance activities with respect to various national and international regulations.

The role requires close interaction, collaboration with multiple stakeholders including Product management, V&V, E&E, SW, Design and Development, Prototype, production, Certification bodies, and external test laboratories.

  • Obtain an in-depth understanding of products by working with internal stakeholders to generate requirement proposals and execution plans.
  • Study & understand Tender Documents, Scheme Documents, Compliance Standards, Drone Rules and generate test requirements proposal & obtain agreements with internal stakeholders.
  • Certify Systems on Chips (SoCs) through correct TC documentation, tests executions, TC audits and cooperation with Certification Bodies for expeditious releases.
  • Ensure effective communications & collaborations with Certification Bodies, DGCA, QCI, CEMILAC, DFI, BIS etc.
  • Timely study of regulatory drafts & feedbacks in the interest of idea implementation. Study and analysis of international regulations and preparation of presentations & compliance roadmaps.
  • Maintain Certification roadmap in cooperation with Product management and ensure strict adherence in execution.
  • Plan & execute periodic internal audits to identify / analyze the compliance risks & implement mitigation measures with respective departments.

Requirements:

  • B Tech / M Tech in Aeronautical / Mechanical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10-15 Years of Experience in Technical Compliances, minimum 5 years in UAS industry.
  • Exceptional understanding & hands-on experience working with regulatory frameworks – National/International.
  • Proven Experience with product testing, process analysis & certification activities.
