Job Title: Maintenance ProfessionalOur organization is seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out regular preventive maintenance activities across various systems, including electrical panels, DG sets, HVAC units, STP/WTP plants, elevators, fire fighting systems, and plumbing and sanitary systems.This role requires strong technical knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and OM manuals. The ideal candidate should also have experience with BMS (Building Management Systems) and possess excellent problem-solving skills.The selected candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team, providing technical support and guidance to other maintenance personnel as needed. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role, as the individual will interact with various stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and colleagues.Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks on electrical panels, DG sets, HVAC units, STP/WTP plants, elevators, fire fighting systems, and plumbing and sanitary systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing lines, motors, pumps, etc.
  • Ensure daily checklist and log sheet entries are completed for generator readings, electrical load consumption, water levels in tanks and pumps, HVAC operational logs, fire system control panel status, and stock of consumables, spare parts, and request replacements when required.
  • Assist in inspections by auditors, external vendors, or statutory bodies.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests such as power failures, water leakages, or system breakdowns.
  • Provide quick fixes and escalate critical issues to the maintenance lead.
  • Maintain and update records of maintenance checklists, preventive maintenance schedules, asset register, repair logs, daily activity reports, inventory logs, safety inspection checklists, and coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized services and AMC works.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Experience with BMS systems and ability to read and interpret technical drawings and OM manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work at heights.
