About the Job

This is a challenging and exciting opportunity to lead a team in Windchill migration projects using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM). As a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data migration, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth transitions of large datasets from various source systems to Enovia, SAP, and other target systems.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Windchill architecture, object models, and relationships. They will also possess strong scripting skills on databases such as Oracle and SQL Server, with the ability to analyze large datasets and identify complex issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Migrate large datasets from various source systems to Enovia, SAP, and other target systems using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM).
  • Analyze and resolve complex issues related to data mapping, extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Work closely with customers to gather requirements, conduct source data analysis, and develop data mapping strategies.
  • Develop and maintain scripts to extract, transform, and load data from various source systems.
  • Ensure seamless data migrations through thorough testing and validation.
Requirements
  • Expertise in Windchill migration using Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) with a minimum of 3-4 successful projects under your belt.
  • Strong understanding of Windchill architecture, object models, and relationships.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Perl for database operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in non-Windchill to Windchill data migration.
  • Familiarity with Customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
