Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee and optimize the entire UAV manufacturing process, ensuring high-quality output and efficiency.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage production lines for UAV assembly, including layout planning, equipment selection, and workflow optimization.
  • Manage the complete production setup, ensuring flexibility, minimal downtime, and high output quality.
  • Recruit, onboard, and train a team of technicians and assembly supervisors.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S methodologies to streamline processes and reduce waste.
  • Prepare and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
  • Coordinate with engineering to align production capabilities with product specifications and testing requirements.
  • Develop, track, and report production KPIs related to line efficiency, cycle time, and throughput.

Educations & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of production management experience, with expertise in setting up production lines and building manufacturing teams in UAV Manufacturing, consumer/medical electronics manufacturing, or avionics manufacturing.
  • Proven experience in team recruitment, training, and development in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies and ERP systems.
  • Strong Knowledge of Quality Assurance, and Quality Management systems.

Working Conditions:

  • This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, India that may require occasional evening or weekend work.
  • May require travel to customer sites or other company locations.

Compensation Package:

  • A competitive salary of ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,500,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
