Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Battery Management System (BMS) Hardware Architect to join our team. As a BMS Hardware Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing the BMS hardware system for a BESS domain, ensuring compliance with state-of-the-art standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop BMS hardware systems for BESS domains
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide solutions to complex use cases
  • Ensure timely delivery of modules/systems at quality standards
  • Provide customer-facing support and expertise in power electronics concepts, digital circuit design, and analog circuit design
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • BE/BTech/MTech in Electrical Engineering (EEE)
  • 12-14 years of experience in related fields
  • Demonstrated experience in developing BMS for energy storage/ESS
  • Strong design knowledge of Digital circuit design, Analog circuit design, ADC, DACs, OP Amps, Micro-processors, Micro-controllers & DSPs, etc.
  • Knowledge of Regulatory requirements for Li-ion batteries for Energy storage application
  • Experience with FMEA and Root Cause Analysis
  • Experience working with various Sensing Technologies and hardware peripherals
Desirable Skills
  • Knowledge of Safety Regulatory standards like IEC61508, ISO26262 when building HW designs
  • Working knowledge of safety-critical features like charge control, thermal control, fault detection, and diagnostics for battery and energy products
