Web Application Security Specialist

Protect client applications from various threats by designing, implementing, and managing Web Application Firewall solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure F5 WAF appliances at L2 level and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
  • Monitor SOC devices regularly and analyze alarms to provide timely reports to customers.
  • Implement use cases and policies based on customer requirements to enhance the effectiveness of the WAF solution.
  • Investigate and resolve critical issues in collaboration with OEMs to minimize downtime.
  • Manage daily tickets including change and service requests efficiently.
  • Conduct regular analysis of triggered alarms in the WAF and report findings to customers.
  • Perform version upgrades, patch updates, and restore SOC devices as necessary.
  • Review endpoint compliance reports and suggest improvements to optimize compliance levels.
  • Develop an advanced understanding of OWASP web application firewalls and policy implementation maintenance best practices.
  • Monitor WAF alerts, investigate incidents, and respond promptly.
  • Design and administer comprehensive WAF solutions to meet customer needs.

The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of Web Application Firewall (WAF) & LTM: F5 with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience. Proficiency in admin and troubleshooting tasks at L2 level in F5 WAF is also essential.

A bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology or Master of Computer Applications is required. The candidate should hold one security certification such as PMP, ITIL Expert, CISA, CISM, or CISSP within 30 days of joining.
