AWS Consultant

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud architecture and a deep understanding of AWS services.

Responsibilities
  1. Design, develop, document, test, and debug new and existing configuration management infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  2. Have a strong understanding of AWS cloud network structure and components, including Subnets, Switching, Routing, Load balancing, OSI Model, and TCP/IP.
  3. Have strong knowledge in AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, EMR, and others.
  4. Understand IT security principles, including Role-based access, Multifactor Authentication, Access Lists, Firewalls, Encryption, and Bastion Hosts.
  5. Have experience with Splunk (or equivalent) and Terraform, as well as GIT as source control.
  6. Be aware of Linux/Windows/Networking and how it works to integrate within the cloud environment.
  7. Have Linux System administration experience.
  8. Have hands-on experience installing & configuring Windows servers and Linux servers.
  9. Identify engineering defects in the existing code base and constantly improve the code quality.
  10. Actively support operational teams and other stakeholder teams to maintain business continuation and maintain customer satisfaction.
  11. Automate monitoring tools to monitor system health and reliability to support high uptime requirements.
  12. Automate infrastructure in Amazon Web Services with Terraform and perform code reviews.
  13. Build CI/CD pipeline configurations to orchestrate provisioning and deployment of both large and small scale systems.
  14. Support DevOps operations by integrating developed IaC into CICD pipeline build.
  15. Provide support in validating and verifying requirements, requirements analysis and decomposition, requirements test/verification/validation, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of AWS cloud network structure and components.
  • Experience with Splunk (or equivalent).
  • Experience with Terraform and GIT as source control.
  • Linux System administration experience.
  • Hands-on experience installing & configuring Windows servers and Linux servers.
  • Awareness of Linux/Windows/Networking and how it works to integrate within the cloud environment.
  • CI/CD pipeline configurations skills.
