We are seeking an experienced Head of Legal Operations to join our team at The Premier Consultants (Recruitment Company) in Mumbai. This is a senior-level position that requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of legal operations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing tasks related to the Registrar of Companies, RBI, SEBI, NSDL/CDSL, Stock Exchanges, Debenture Trustees, and Share Transfer Agents. They will also have experience representing the organization before the Central Government and other authorities.
Responsibilities include:
- Holding Annual General Meetings, Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and mail-in ballots
- Preparing the annual report, including the board's report, management discussion and analysis report, corporate governance report, business responsibility report, and others
- Upkeeping Statutory Records and Registers
- Submitting various forms and documents to the Central Government, Registrar of Companies (ROC), SEBI, and stock exchanges
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring timely filing and evaluating necessary filing in accordance with statutory and regulatory body rules. They will also be responsible for compiling and submitting the appropriate paperwork and returns in accordance with the Companies Act and FERA.
Additionally, they will work with banks and other financial organizations to create securities, create charges, and satisfy charges. They will also deal in Foreign Exchange and Merchant Banking.
We offer a competitive salary package of approximately ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,000,000 per annum, depending on experience.
