Senior Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead our team in managing and strategizing on end-to-end credit underwriting and monitoring of personal loans through digital journey. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of experience with 3-4 years in risk management and policy creation, and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement policies for credit underwriting and risk management.

  2. Work closely with Data Science team to analyze and validate underwriting models, determine performance benchmarks, and identify course of action in case of breach.

  3. Automate credit policies to minimize manual intervention in assessing creditworthiness, determine right pricing basis segmentation, and work on standardization of policies and processes.

  4. Track portfolio profitability and funnel metrics along with risk thresholds, and recommend policy changes to Policy head based on analysis outcome.

  5. Conduct periodic credit review of existing portfolio, identify high-risk segments, take actions to mitigate risks, monitor delinquent accounts, and ensure achievement of company standards/benchmark of delinquency.

  6. Identify technological solutions to improve existing processes and overall portfolio management functions, and analyze various MIS to monitor portfolio performance and risk.

  7. Understand new product being offered by channel partner, segment being catered to, journey, set of information available, requisition data to be provided at time of application, create policy basis the product, information available, and prevailing models.

  8. Facilitate data room exercise for new segment of customers, formulate policy keeping expected loss rates in consideration, and monitor implementation of policy, UAT, and production test run of policy and clear bottlenecks if any.

  9. Manage relations with Partners, credit reporting agencies, and assist in all credit operations of the company.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate in Finance/Statistics/Management from A institutes is required.

  • BTech with MBA is preferred.
