Job Title: Assistant Manager

The ideal candidate will be a meticulous and accountable professional who can oversee the daily accounting operations, ensure precise financial records, and provide support for compliance and reporting functions.

  • Manage day-to-day accounting entries in the system (Tally/ERP/SAP/Oracle)
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable transactions, including vendor payments and customer receipts
  • Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor daily fund positions
  • Support the preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements and MIS reports
  • Ensure adherence to GST, TDS, and other statutory returns and payments
  • Maintain accurate documentation and filing for audit and statutory purposes
  • Coordinate with external auditors during statutory, tax, and internal audits
  • Assist in monthly closing activities and financial reporting
  • Support fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and related schedules
  • Reconcile ledgers and identify discrepancies
  • Prepare data for tax computation and filing
  • Monitor compliance timelines and ensure timely adherence to regulatory deadlines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Commerce or Master of Commerce degree or Semi-qualified Certified Accountant
  • Freshers/2–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and compliance
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, GST, and TDS
  • Proficient in MS Excel skills and ability to handle large data sets
  • Attention to detail, with strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team under tight deadlines
