The role of a YouTube Content Associate involves overseeing the execution of content strategies across multiple YouTube channels, managing publishing operations and growing presence through various platforms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily publishing workflow to ensure timely uploads and adherence to content schedules;
- Optimizing video titles, descriptions, tags, playlists, end screens, cards to maximize reach and performance;
- Coordinating with animation and editing teams for high-quality content delivery;
Additionally, this role entails:
- Developing and maintaining a content calendar based on audience insights, trends and business goals;
- Contributing to new content formats and storytelling styles tailored to kids and family audiences;
- Staying up-to-date with platform trends and audience expectations by working closely with creative and production teams;
Required skills and qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication, Media or related field;
- 3-6 years of experience managing YouTube channels, preferably in kids or entertainment content;
- Proficiency in using tools like YouTube Studio, TubeBuddy and VidIQ;
- Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills;
This role is ideal for individuals passionate about kids' content storytelling and digital platforms. Relevant experience in kids' media, animation or family-friendly content is also an asset.
