Western Vocals Instructor

We are seeking a skilled Western Vocals Instructor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and conducting vocal lessons, training students in various Western vocal techniques, preparing them for graded certification exams, and providing individualized attention to help each student reach their musical potential.

This is a full-time on-site position located in Gurugram. The ideal candidate will have experience in lesson planning and teaching, as well as strong communication and education skills. They will also possess the ability to effectively conduct training sessions and demonstrate proficiency in Western vocals and music theory.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the needs of students with varying skill levels and learning styles.
  • Train students in Western vocals and music theory, focusing on building their technical skills and musical confidence.
  • Prepare students for graded certification exams by creating customized study plans and providing regular feedback.
  • Organize and participate in recitals, jam sessions, and concerts, showcasing the students' progress and achievements.
  • Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in lesson planning and teaching, preferably in a Western vocals setting.
  • Strong Communication and Education Skills: Ability to communicate complex musical concepts in a clear and concise manner, adapt to diverse learning styles, and provide constructive feedback to students.
  • Training and Development: Possess the ability to design and deliver engaging training sessions, incorporating real-world examples and interactive activities to enhance the learning experience.
  • Vocational Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency in Western vocals and music theory, including knowledge of various genres, styles, and historical periods.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Music or a Related Field: A degree in music or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant certifications or diplomas may be considered equivalent to a degree in some cases.
