Embedded System Validation Engineer

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in digital fundamentals, with hands-on experience in system design using FPGA devices.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and maintain high-quality code in Verilog/System Verilog, VHDL, and C for embedded processors.
  • Design and develop testbenches using Verilog/System Verilog.
  • Verify validation designs in simulation environments using BFM/VIP.
  • Experience in synthesis, placement constraints, STA constraint definition, and timing closure for high-speed designs.
  • Validate FPGA-based implementations on HW boards.
  • Develop embedded firmware programs in C/C++.
  • Strong lab debug skills and enthusiasm for solving systems-level hardware issues.
  • Conversant with on-chip debug tools.
  • Experienced with scripting tcl/perl.
  • Exposure to version management systems, GitHub, SVN.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical background in silicon validation, failure analysis, and debugging.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Technical Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience in FPGA device system design.
  • Proficient in writing high-quality code in Verilog/System Verilog, VHDL, and C.
  • Knowledge of synthesis, placement constraints, and timing closure.
  • Experience with testbench development and validation design verification.
  • Strong lab debug skills and knowledge of on-chip debug tools.
  • Scripting skills in tcl/perl.
