Business Registration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Business Registration Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be proficient in MS Office.
This role involves preparing and filing sales tax returns and payments accurately and timely as required by taxing jurisdictions. You will also maintain high standards for accuracy in line with standard operating procedures, communicate ongoing status and challenges or blockers to the manager, and stay abreast of updates, trends, and support overall production accuracy goals.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Tax Compliance: Prepare and file sales tax returns and payments accurately and timely.
- Maintain High Standards: Maintain high standards for accuracy in line with standard operating procedures.
- Communication: Communicate ongoing status and challenges or blockers to the manager.
- Stay Abreast: Stay abreast of updates, trends, and support overall production accuracy goals.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal contacts and communicate clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail.
- MS Office Proficiency: Proficient in MS Office.
- Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience; MBA in Finance preferred.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of Sales Tax, VAT, and Use Tax preferred.
- Tracking Tools: Experience with tracking tools like Salesforce and Atlassian Jira.
