Job Title: Senior Observability Engineer

This is a challenging role requiring strong expertise in AWS, Synthetic Monitoring, and Dynatrace to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable observability platforms, driving adoption of APM tooling, and embedding synthetic monitoring into modern service architectures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement scalable secure and resilient synthetic monitoring platforms across hybrid multi-cloud environments.
  • Lead the adoption of Dynatrace APM with standardized instrumentation and deployment models.
  • Define strategies for onboarding cloud hybrid and edge telemetry sources with a focus on synthetic monitoring.
  • Integrate observability tooling, preferably Catchpoint and Dynatrace, to deliver unified insights.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and develop custom synthetic monitoring solutions as needed.
  • Contribute to open-source or internal observability tooling/standards for synthetic monitoring.
  • Drive documentation training and cross-team knowledge sharing to strengthen monitoring practices.
  • Collaborate with application teams to embed synthetic monitoring into new service architectures.
  • Partner with security teams on compliance threat detection and governance related to monitoring.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Dynatrace and Synthetic Monitoring.
  • Strong expertise in AWS EC2 EKS Lambda.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing observability solutions across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Familiarity with other monitoring/observability tools, including Catchpoint Prometheus Grafana, is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills.
