Trade Marketing Director

About the Role:

The Trade Marketing Director will be responsible for driving strategic impact in India's premium home appliance market through effective trade marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trade & Channel Development:
    • Develop and execute trade marketing plans aligned with overall brand and business objectives to enhance brand visibility, drive sales, and strengthen relationships with offline retail partners.
    • Plan and manage promotional campaigns, in-store activations, and consumer engagement programs to optimize product visibility through strategic merchandising, POS materials, and retail displays.
  • Retail Partner Engagement:
    • Build strong relationships with retail partners, distributors, and sales teams to ensure effective execution of marketing activities and develop sales enablement tools and training programs to equip partners with key product knowledge and selling techniques.
    • Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and recommend improvements to enhance ROI on trade marketing activities using market insights and sales data.
  • Strategic Impact:
    • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Product) to ensure alignment of trade marketing strategies with business goals and drive strategic impact in India's premium home appliance market.
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of experience in trade marketing, retail marketing, or channel marketing, preferably in consumer electronics, home appliances, or Mobile Industry.
  • Strong experience in in-store activations, retail merchandising, and POS strategy.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute retail marketing plans with a strong understanding of the Indian retail ecosystem.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making and ROI tracking.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools.
