Wordpress Developer Role

We are seeking an experienced Wordpress developer to create, implement and maintain WordPress-based websites for clients. This role requires a strong understanding of Wordpress development best practices and proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop custom Wordpress themes and plugins based on client specifications
  • Customize existing Wordpress themes and plugins to meet project requirements
  • Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionality
  • Conduct quality assurance testing to identify and resolve issues before deployment
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Wordpress websites, including troubleshooting and bug fixes
  • Experience in speed optimization techniques is required
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest Wordpress trends, technologies, and best practices
  • Configure and customize WooCommerce functionalities like product pages, shopping carts, and payment gateways to enhance the overall user experience.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Wordpress development
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Strong understanding of Wordpress architecture, themes, and plugins
  • Hubspot CMS experience would be beneficial
  • Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) is desirable
  • Experience with custom coding in Wordpress, including developing custom functionality, hooks, and filters
  • Proficiency in PHP and MySQL for customizing Wordpress functionality beyond standard themes and plugins
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug custom code efficiently
  • Familiarity with Wordpress coding standards and best practices for maintaining clean, efficient, and secure code
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when implementing custom solutions to meet project requirements
