Senior Web Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining web applications using WordPress.

The selected candidate will have a strong understanding of WordPress development best practices, as well as proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP. Experience with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility is essential.

The role requires collaboration with design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionality. Additionally, the candidate must be able to conduct quality assurance testing to identify and resolve issues before deployment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client specifications
  • Customizing existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements
  • Collaborating with design and development teams to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end functionality
  • Conducting quality assurance testing to identify and resolve issues before deployment
Requirements:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in WordPress development
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP
  • Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Familiarity with Hubspot CMS and custom coding in WordPress is a plus. Proficiency in PHP and MySQL for customizing WordPress functionality beyond standard themes and plugins is also desirable.
