Job Role: Livelihood Enhancement Specialist

The Livelihood Enhancement Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting project teams to effectively implement livelihood activities aligned with the project's design and activity plan.

They will work closely with the Director of Social Impact to enhance the technical quality of project interventions through regular coordination. This includes developing detailed implementation plans, providing support to project teams, and ensuring the achievement of defined objectives and targets.

In addition, the Livelihood Enhancement Specialist will establish women-led Plastic Collection Centers and Collection Points within waste collector communities, launch e-tricycle-based plastic waste collection initiatives for informal waste collectors, and implement skill training initiatives to develop market linkages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support project teams in implementing livelihood activities
  • Closely coordinate with the Director of Social Impact to enhance technical quality of project interventions
  • Develop detailed implementation plans and provide support to project teams
  • Establish women-led Plastic Collection Centers and Collection Points
  • Launch e-tricycle-based plastic waste collection initiatives

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work/Sciences, Entrepreneurship Development, or related fields
