Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless inventory management, warehouse operations, and transportation logistics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory coverage of all raw and packing materials based on set norms and factory plans.
  • Highlight issues related to stock-outs, freshness, and BBD crossed stocks.
  • Review daily stock levels and identify constraints.
  • E nsure delivery on service levels and keep commercial, factory, and quality teams informed about going challenges related to RM and PM.
  • E nsure blind counts are performed as per defined schedules and timely highlight differences with reasons to relevant teams.
  • Manage existing RM and PM warehouse operations, including defining and monitoring KPIs and SOPs.
  • Train and induct new staff, and manage manpower for the warehouse through CMC.
  • E nsure that stock transfer is in compliance with laws of the land and completeness of documentation and permits.
  • E nsure stocks are received, stocked, and dispatched as per quality norms.
  • E nsure RM and PM warehouses are well-maintained by 3PL.
  • F ollow SOPs laid down from time to time for warehouse management.
  • B e the point of contact for inbound stocks and warehouse, resolve issues, and concerns on priority.
  • E nsure the warehouse operates within planned targets and continuously strive for cost optimization.
  • T ransportation and Logistics: Vehicle planning, placement from raw WH to factory for inventory replenishment, monitoring, and tracking performance of transportation vendors, building efficiency in existing routes, assisting business needs by ensuring transportation costs are within budget, and driving efficiency to meet year-end targets.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • A ble to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is desirable.
