Job Title: Logistics Operations Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the planning and execution of strategic cargo movements, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders.

About the Role:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced logistics professional to oversee the end-to-end planning of ODC shipments.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop cargo movement strategies in alignment with customer requirements and vessel schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee the planning and execution of ODC shipments, ensuring timely allocation of bookings and collaboration with carriers.
  2. Develop and implement rate management strategies to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining profitability.
  3. Closely monitor carrier bookings and ensure timely updates of rates and vessel/voyage information.
  4. Supervise the coordination of container inventory and equipment management, ensuring optimal utilization and minimizing turnaround time.
  5. Drive efficient communication with customers regarding container pickup status, required documentation, and compliance with List & VGM cut-offs.
  6. Ensure booking forecasts are aligned with planned vessel schedules and validate any dimension changes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics operations, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex logistical challenges.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
