About the Role:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented professional to join our in-house design team as a Print Design Specialist.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in creating innovative print designs for bedsheets and other home furnishings categories (e.g., curtains, cushions, table linens).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and trend-forward print designs that meet commercial standards for the retail market.
- Work closely with merchandising and sourcing teams to align design output with product planning and timelines.
- Coordinate with production and vendors to ensure quality and accuracy in sampling and final output.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to drive innovation in design.
- Prepare mood boards, color palettes, CADs, and print repeats for presentations and approvals.
- Contribute to seasonal collection planning and visual merchandising inputs.
Requirements:
- 1.5 – 2 years of hands-on experience in textile/print design, preferably in an export house.
- Expertise in bedsheet design and familiarity with both soft and hard furnishings.
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD software.
- Strong design sensibility with an eye for detail, color, and composition.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Degree in Textile/Fashion Design from NIFT, NID, or other reputed design institutions (preferred).
