Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in all aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of quality assurance professionals to maintain excellence in craftsmanship and product quality.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive quality management strategies aligned with company goals and industry standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.

Quality Standards & Compliance

  • Establish, maintain, and monitor quality standards specific to high fashion products, including fabrics, trims, and finishing details.
  • Ensure compliance with international quality standards, certifications, and ethical manufacturing practices.

Technical Oversight & Inspection

  • Oversee technical inspections of raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products.
  • Develop and refine inspection protocols and testing procedures for fabrics, dyes, stitching, fit, and finishing.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality specifications are met.
  • Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to maintain high-quality raw materials and components.

Product Development Support

  • Work closely with design and development teams to review technical specifications and prototypes.
  • Perform technical evaluations of garments, including fit, finish, stitching, and fabric integrity.
  • Provide technical feedback on feasibility, quality risks, and improvements during the sample development phase.

Team Management & Training

  • Lead, mentor, and train quality assurance staff, inspectors, and technicians.
  • Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous learning within the team.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on quality metrics, issues, and improvement progress.

Risk Management & Problem Resolution

  • Identify potential quality risks in production processes and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Resolve complex quality issues swiftly to minimize delays and costs.

Technological & Industry Trends

  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, fabrics, and industry standards relevant to high fashion manufacturing.
  • Implement innovative quality control methods and tools as appropriate.

Customer & Internal Stakeholder Communication

  • Liaise with clients, designers, and internal teams to address quality concerns and expectations.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent product delivery.
