We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Badminton Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching and a passion for developing players of all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement training programs for individual players and teams\
• Conduct regular coaching sessions, providing constructive feedback and guidance\
• Maintain accurate records of player progress and achievements\
• Collaborate with other coaches and sports professionals to share best practices and knowledge\
• Stay up-to-date with the latest badminton techniques, strategies, and trends\
• Recruit and manage a team of assistant coaches and support staff as needed\
• Participate in tournament planning and organization\
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and other stakeholders\
• Ensure a safe and inclusive coaching environment\
• Manage budget and resources effectively\
• Perform other duties as assigned by management\
• Identify opportunities for growth and development within the organization\
• Network and build relationships with other sports organizations and professionals\
• Foster a positive and supportive team culture\
• Promote the values and mission of the organization\
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the organization's badminton programs\
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement\
• Stay current with industry developments and best practices\
• Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses and community groups\
• Organize events and activities to engage the local community\
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to inquiries in a timely manner\
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals\
• Serve as a role model and inspire others to do the same\
• Take ownership of projects and tasks assigned to you\
• Set goals and priorities aligned with the organization's objectives\
• Seek feedback and coaching to improve performance\
• Represent the organization at external events and functions\
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders\
• Support the development of new initiatives and programs\
• Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other materials as needed\
• Develop and implement systems to track player progress and achievement\
• Collaborate with the marketing department to develop promotional materials and campaigns\
• Maintain accurate records of player attendance, payment, and communication\
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly\
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure successful delivery of programs and services\
• Attend meetings, workshops, and conferences as required\
• Participate in quality control processes to ensure high standards are maintained\
• Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures\
• Engage in self-reflection and continuous learning to enhance coaching skills and knowledge\
• Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and laws governing the organization\
• Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and ethics\
• Support the organization's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion\
• Actively promote a positive and respectful work environment\
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals\

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• \
• Diploma from National Institute of Sports (NIS) or equivalent experience\
• International Medalist or International participation\
• National Medalist with a certificate course in coaching/ diploma in coaching\
• Strong coaching experience and a proven track record of success\
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills\
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines\
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills\
• Knowledge of badminton rules, regulations, and best practices\
• Experience working with diverse groups and individuals\
• Strong leadership and team management skills\
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities\
• Passion for badminton and commitment to ongoing professional development\
• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges\
• Flexibility to work varied shifts and schedules as required\
• Availability to travel for tournaments and events\
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills\
• Ability to lead and motivate a team\
• Effective time management and organizational skills\
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills\
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders\
• Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices\
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team\
• High level of physical fitness and ability to perform demanding tasks\
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation\
• Current First Aid and CPR certification\
• Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks\
• Background check and references required\
• Reside within commuting distance to the workplace\
