Oracle WebLogic Administrator Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of an Oracle WebLogic Administrator.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, and manage Oracle WebLogic Server and associated middleware components for high availability.
  • Configure JDBC data sources, JMS modules, and clustering to ensure seamless operations.
  • Monitor server health, capacity, and performance, applying patches, upgrades, and security updates as required.
  • Manage deployments of Java EE applications on WebLogic Server, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and technical issues, collaborating with developers to resolve application-level errors.
  • Implement monitoring tools, such as OEM and Nagios, to proactively detect potential issues. Maintain logs and documentation for audits and future reference.
  • Create and manage backup policies for WebLogic configurations and applications, developing disaster recovery procedures.
  • Coordinate with DBA, network, and security teams to ensure smooth operations, providing technical support to application development and QA teams.

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in Oracle WebLogic administration.
  • Expertise in WebLogic Server 12c and 14c.
  • Strong knowledge of Java EE application servers and Linux/Unix environments.
  • Experience with Oracle databases and PL SQL integration.
  • Familiarity with LDAP, SSL configurations, and security policies.
  • Understanding of load balancing, clustering, and high-availability architecture.
  • Scripting experience, particularly in Shell and Python.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
