About this Role

We seek a seasoned Teamcenter PLM developer to drive the development, customization, and maintenance of our Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.

The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Teamcenter architecture, modules, and functionalities, as well as advanced Teamcenter customization and development skills. They will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of complex customizations and extensions within the Teamcenter PLM platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teamcenter Customization and Development:
    • Leverage your extensive experience to design, develop, and implement complex customizations and extensions within the Teamcenter PLM platform using various programming languages and tools.
  • Teamcenter Configuration and Administration:
    • Configure and maintain Teamcenter modules, workflows, data models, access controls, and security settings, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to best practices.
  • Integration with Enterprise Systems:
    • Architect and develop robust integrations between Teamcenter and other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CAD, MES, and other business applications.
  • Requirements Gathering and Solution Design:
    • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze complex business requirements, translating them into comprehensive technical specifications and innovative solution designs.
  • Technical Leadership and Mentorship:
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
  • Performance Optimization and Troubleshooting:
    • Identify and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks within the Teamcenter platform, ensuring system stability and optimal user experience.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Lead testing efforts, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, ensuring the quality and reliability of developed solutions.
  • Documentation and Best Practices:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, code documentation, and best practices for Teamcenter development and administration.
  • Project Management and Collaboration:
    • Manage development projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective communication with project stakeholders, including product development, engineering, and IT teams.
  • Continuous Improvement and Innovation:
    • Stay at the forefront of the latest Teamcenter features, releases, and industry trends, proactively recommending and implementing improvements to our PLM platform.

Requirements:

We are looking for a candidate with 8-11 years of experience in PLM Teamcenter development and administration, who is proficient in Java, C++, and Teamcenter API, has strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, can work independently, and manage complex projects effectively.
