Senior Quality Expert

We are seeking a seasoned quality expert to join our digital transformation team.

This individual will play a crucial role in helping our financial institution clients become leaders in the digital landscape.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on functional, API, and automation testing within digital banking services.

Key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and executing automated and manual test cases for digital banking applications, as well as developing and maintaining automation scripts using Selenium or Playwright for UI testing and Postman/REST Assured for API testing.

The successful candidate will also participate in shift-left testing practices, working closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams to ensure quality is embedded early in the software development lifecycle.

A strong understanding of digital banking workflows, including payments, cards, KYC, customer onboarding, loans, and internet/mobile banking channels, is essential.

Familiarity with AI/ML-powered testing tools and concepts, such as AI-driven test case generation, is highly desirable.

ISTQB Test certification holder

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test cases for digital banking applications, including Internet Banking, Mobile Banking, and Core Banking APIs.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium or Playwright for UI testing and Postman/REST Assured for API testing.
• Participate in shift-left testing by reviewing requirements, collaborating in design discussions, and identifying potential defects early in the lifecycle.
• Actively learn and adopt new testing tools and techniques, especially in automation and AI-assisted testing, to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, including strong expertise in functional, API, and automation testing within digital banking services.
• Strong understanding of digital banking workflows, including Payments, Cards, KYC, Customer Onboarding, Loans, and Internet/Mobile Banking channels.
• Hands-on experience in test automation development using Selenium and Playwright for UI testing and Postman/REST Assured for API testing.
• Ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-powered testing tools and concepts, such as AI-driven test case generation.
• Experience in shift-left testing practices, working closely with developers, product owners, and DevOps to ensure quality is embedded early in the SDLC.
• ISTQB Test certification holder
