Job Title

A Head of Product Launch Management will lead the launch management team, overseeing all aspects of product launches for various portfolio segments. This role will support new product development project management and work closely with cross-functional and regional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry, capable of driving new product launches globally and aligning cross-functional teams for success.

About the Role
  • Partner with regional leaders and key functions to ensure timely adherence to milestones.
  • Drive excellence in launch management to achieve successful execution.
  • Collaborate with regional heads to deliver accurate data on timelines and replenishment plans.
  • Lead cross-functional planning, including resource allocation, material planning, financial assessments, and capacity planning.
  • Provide inputs for portfolio decisions, identifying dependencies and implications.
  • Implement best practices in NPL management, using dashboards, templates, and tools for efficient planning and execution.
  • Facilitate alignment and accountability within regional and corporate functions to meet company goals.
  • Manage calendars, optimize governance processes, and partner with senior management as needed.
  • Ensure effective communication of launch status across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain integrated launch plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders within and outside the company.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams and driving projects forward, ensuring successful product launches.

Requirements
  • Masters degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
  • 20+ years of experience in planning, product launch management, or a related role in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven leadership and management experience, with a track record of influencing cross-functional teams.
  • Deep knowledge of planning, product development, regulatory processes, and launch management.
  • Familiarity with pre-clinical, clinical, CMC, quality, regulatory, and commercial functions.
