Procurement Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on technical requirements, quality standards, and cost-effectiveness.
- Evaluate supplier proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Collaborate with suppliers to improve their processes, quality, and delivery performance.
- Analyze the cost structure of products and identify opportunities for cost reduction through value engineering, process optimization, and material sourcing.
- Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and favorable payment terms.
About the Role:
This is a key position within our procurement team, responsible for identifying and developing strategic relationships with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, including engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and quality, to ensure alignment and effective communication. They will also be responsible for implementing cost-saving initiatives throughout the supply chain, such as reducing lead times, improving inventory management, and optimizing logistics.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software.
