Cloud Operations Engineer

The role of a Cloud Operations Engineer is to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and high availability of cloud deployments, systems, and services.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams as a trusted security advisor
  • Deploy and manage Virtual Machines, PaaS services, and automation in the Azure Cloud environment
  • Lead the development of knowledge transfers and standard operating procedures for Azure platforms (IaaS, Intune/Autopilot)
  • Develop comprehensive deployment guides and implement robust monitoring and alerting systems
  • Perform system audits to optimize performance and provide recommendations for future enhancements
  • Design, write, and deliver scripts to improve availability, scalability, reliability, and efficiency of On-prem, Azure Cloud, and application integration platforms

As a key member of the IT operations team, you will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, improving processes, and ensuring the highest levels of service quality. Your expertise in DevOps practices, automation, and scripting will enable our organization to drive business transformation and growth.

Requirements:
  • Strong background in Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent industry experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Server and Cloud Administration
  • Industry knowledge of best practices in automation and DevOps is essential
  • IT-aligned engineering degree, diploma, or equivalent work experience
  • Microsoft Azure Certification is a must-have (AZ100 or AZ300 preferred)
