Backend Development Trainer Job Description

 

  • About the Role:

This is a part-time remote role that requires guiding trainees through hands-on learning experiences, mentoring them as they progress, and participating in project development and review meetings.

The ideal candidate has strong background in backend development, proven ability to train and mentor at various skill levels, and proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, Postgres, Kafka, Redis, and Postman.

  • Deliver comprehensive training sessions on backend development concepts and practices.
  • Guide trainees in hands-on project development focusing on Java, Spring Boot, and essential backend tools.
  • Participate in project meetings to discuss progress, provide feedback, and ensure alignment with objectives.
  • Provide mentorship and constructive feedback to foster growth and confidence in backend development.
  • Assess trainee progress and address individual learning gaps effectively.

Required Skills:

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in backend development
  • Strong communication skills
  • Teaching or mentoring experience is an advantage
