Job Title: Senior Network Engineer

This is a senior-level position that oversees the configuration, maintenance, and support of network & security devices.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with expertise in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network devices such as Core & Spine switch, routers, VPN gateways, in Onprem and Cloud deployment.

  • Hands-on experience in managing network hardware such as routers, switches, wireless controllers, and load balancers.
  • Deploying, configuring and managing security devices such as firewalls in On-prem and cloud deployments.
  • Experience in design, setup, configuration and daily administration of technologies like SDWAN, IPS/IDS, Firewalls, Proxy devices.

In this role, you will be responsible for triaging critical incidents, troubleshoot issues and resolve them, maintain SLAs, Critical event support ensuring high uptime of Network & Security environment.

You will also be expected to define technology roadmap, maintain technical debt of Network & Security devices by regularly upgrading the components based on OEM recommendations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • At least 8+ years of hands-on experience in network administration function.
  • CCNA OR CCNP certification is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with any one of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI, IBM).

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities and stakeholder management skills.
