Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks related to information security, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • ISO 27001 Implementation: Lead the implementation and maintenance of ISO 27001 standards, including internal audits and certification processes.
  • Policy Development: Develop, update, and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and ensure adherence to industry regulations and standards, such as GDPR, NIST, and SOX.
  • Audits and Assessments: Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Vendor Risk Management: Evaluate and manage third-party vendors to ensure they meet organizational security requirements.
  • Security Controls: Test and monitor the effectiveness of security controls and recommend enhancements.

To succeed in this role, one must possess excellent communication and team player skills, a positive attitude and learning aptitude, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant certifications, such as CISA, CISM, or ISO 27001, are highly valued.

Qualifications for the position include a graduation/post-graduation degree in Computers, Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Technology systems, along with 3+ years of experience as a GRC Consultant, including risk management, risk assessment, second-line defense, control assessment, and corporate IT governance.
