Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned data professional to lead the design and implementation of scalable cloud-based ETL pipelines using Azure services.

The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in Informatica, as well as expert-level knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure SQL.

You will work closely with data architects, analysts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver efficient data solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related services.
  • Processing, transforming, and loading massive datasets into Azure Blob Storage or other data stores.
  • Collaborating with data scientists to build effective data workflows.
  • Creating and managing data storage solutions, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
  • Implementing data validation and cleansing procedures to ensure high-quality data.

In addition to these responsibilities, you should have a strong understanding of data warehouse modeling (Kimball, Inmon) and be familiar with DevOps (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code.
