We are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of EHR Integration Specialist. This individual will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of electronic health records across various platforms, utilizing their expertise in clinical informatics and health IT.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of EHR systems, including Epic, Cerner, Allscripts, and Meditech. They will be proficient in designing and validating workflows for clinical data extraction, transformation, and writing using HL7 v2/v3, FHIR (R4), CDA/CCD, X12, custom APIs, and EHR-specific integration frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for integration projects across major EHR platforms
  2. Design and validate workflows for clinical data extraction, transformation, and writing
  3. Develop and support applications that integrate with EHRs
  4. Collaborate with product, engineering, and compliance teams to define technical requirements and ensure data security, privacy, and HIPAA compliance
Required Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in EHR integration, clinical informatics, or health IT
  • Hands-on experience with at least two major EHR platforms
  • Strong knowledge of EHR-supported interfaces and APIs
  • Proven experience in building, registering, and publishing EHR-integrated applications
Familiarity with Clinical Data Standards:
  • HL7 v2/v3, FHIR (R4), CDA/CCD
  • RESTful and SOAP-based APIs
  • Interface engines (e.g., Mirth, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf)
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Degree or certification in Clinical Informatics, Health Information Technology, or related field
  • Experience with tools like Redox, Health Gorilla, Smile CDR, or InterSystems HealthShare
